Jaelee Roberts - "Something You Didn't Count On"

Updated: May 25

From the first time of hearing Jaelee Roberts sing on her debut single, "Something You Didn't Count On", fans of Bluegrass music knew she was destined for major stardom! Roberts is already proving to be a force to be reckoned with. She was named the IBMA 2021 Momentum Vocalist of the Year, the first of many awards to come. She recently released her full length debut album of the same name on the Mountain Home Records label. Without a doubt, Roberts hits every single mark on her debut release that is rarely seen from a new artist and in most cases takes years to reach her level of professionalism and success.

Yet, Roberts isn't new to the music industry or the Bluegrass scene. Her roots in Bluegrass and Country music run deep. Having grown up around this biz with mom, Andrea Roberts, owner, promoter, and agent of The Andrea Roberts Agency, and Danny Roberts, mandolin player for The Grascals, it is no surprise that Jaelee Roberts was destined for stardom in her own right. She's spent many a night backstage at the Grand Ole Opry and practically cut her teeth being privy to rehearsals, networking, numerous concerts and festivals and not to mention she has been singing nearly her entire life.

What makes Roberts unique is in-between releasing stellar music, she also attends East Tennessee State University full-time, and splits her time traveling and performing as lead singer and guitarist for Sister Sadie. There is literally nothing Roberts can't do.

The latest project, "Something You Didn't Count On" saw 4 single releases within the span of a year's time. In addition to the title track, "Think Again", "Still Waters", and "You Can't Stop Me From Staying" have all charted with much success. With the release of Roberts' debut project, it is already garnering much airplay and attention. Roberts does not disappoint on her cover of the Fleetwood Mac hit, "Landslide", and is backed by none other than the legendary, Vince Gill. Her latest single, "Sad Songs" continues to showcase Roberts' impeccable talent and vocals. The entire album takes listeners on a journey throughout as each song tells a story that demonstrates Roberts' immense talent and passion for the music she performs.

Again, there is literally nothing Jaelee Roberts can't do. She is more than a rising star. She has arrived and she won't be stopped from staying - she is here to stay!
